Vintage Vulcan Jewel Glass Cast Iron Metal Stove > Antique Heating Furnace 9410. We have up for your consideration a vintage Vulcan gas stove. It has a cast iron top and base and the rest is metal. I don’t know if it is for propane or natural gas. It has beautiful colored glass jewel windows for viewing the flame. The colors are red, orange, green and yellow. I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS STOVE IS SAFE FOR USE OR NOT. IF YOUR INTENTION IS TO USE IT PLEASE HAVE IT VERIFIED TO BE SAFE FOR USE. It measures 22″ tall and 18″ x 9 1/2 wide. Good condition for its age. It has minor to moderate dents and moderate to severe scratches and surface rust. The colored glass jewels are all intact but the yellow one has a chip. This is a large size antique cast iron clean out door or Dutch oven with door frame. Would make a nice pizza oven door. It measures 16 1/2″ wide x 12 5/8″ high x 3″ deep at the frames edge, the inside measure for the opening required would be 14″ wide x 10 1/2 high. Hard to find one this nice in good working order. The half moon damper on the front works easily, Great condition, No damage, No repairs, It was completely cleaned and finished in a high heat black that gives it an Original patinaed look. Cleaned and triple seasoned. Birmingham Stove & Range (BSR) cast iron 10-5/8 / #8 deep skillet / chicken fryer w/ lid. From the Century Series. There are no cracks, breaks, or damage. Cleaned / seasoned / ready to cook. The business was founded in 1902 as the Alabama Manufacturing Company with Samuel Jones as president. He built the foundry in North Birmingham to produce hollow cookware for the Atlanta Stove Company of Atlanta, Georgia. In 1991 the foundry closed and licensed its cookware lines to Robinson Iron and contracted with Lodge Cast Iron to distribute its products.
