Old #7 Cast Iron 3 Leg Bean Pot with Lid, Restored
I’m guessing Martin made (based on the lid), but not 100%. Either way, old #7 cast iron 3 leg bean pot w/ lid. There are no cracks, breaks, etc… Nice condition, so nothing specific to mention, but old / used so there may be a casting flaw, staining, scratches, etc. Has not been used since the restoration process. Photos were taken outdoors in natural light and are a big part of the description. I’ve restored hundreds of pieces of cast iron cookware. All go through lye to remove any crud, organic material, seasoning, etc. Then I run them through the electrolysis process to remove any corrosion, rust, impurities, etc. They are scrubbed by hand using dish liquid, stainless steel scouring pads, stainless steel brushes, and magic erasers under cold water to bring them back to the bare metal finish. Finally, all pieces are run through three rounds of seasoning using vegetable shortening. Cast iron cookware will last hundreds of years and generations if properly taken care of. These are beautiful, heirloom quality pieces made right here in the USA. Will be bubble wrapped and surrounded by packing material to ensure that they don’t shift in transit. They are not making cookware like this anymore, and I would consider it tragic if anything were to happen to these in transit. Just contact me before to make sure we can make arrangements that work for both of us and I’ll add the option to the listing. If you have any questions, need additional pictures, or anything else please message me. Thank you for viewing this listing.

Vintage O'Keefe & Merritt 1940's Era Stove Fully Restored
Vintage O’Keefe & Merritt 1940’s Era Stove Fully Restored. This is a wonderful late 1940. Eefe & Merritt Stove with all the bells and whistles. 4 burners, two with simmer plates; chrome griddle, overhead range light, with working timer and built in outlet; spring loaded range top cover; oven and unique. Broiler, with an added storage drawer underneath. The stove comes from a historic home in Leimert Park. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t fit with a planned kitchen remodel, but I’ll be sorry to see it go! T make them like this anymore.. Clearly, lots of love and attention have been given to this classic piece. The stove is in restored condition and fully functional, it is in great shape with only minor cosmetic imperfections. It’s a true gem looking for it’s next home! If you have any additional questions, please ask before purchasing. _gsrx_vers_854 GS 7.0.18 (854).

Photos were taken outdoors in natural light and are a big part of the description. Little to no movement on a flat/ level/ hard surface. I’ve restored hundreds of pieces of cast iron cookware. Big Antique Cast Iron Long Griddle 27 x 13, restored
Just marked “R” on the back. Not certain of what foundry made it. Overall / with the handles, it is about 27″ x 13″. Cook surface is approx. 23″ x 12″, and it is a heavy piece. I have seen similar size griddles marked #11. There are no cracks, breaks, etc. Lot of casting flaws on the back, but that’s how it was made. Could be other casting flaws, utensil marks, flea bites, etc. It has not been used since the restoration process. Photos were taken outdoors in natural light and are a big part of the description. Griswold Victor #9 cast iron skillet. Measures 11 3/4 inches wide at the spouts and 1 7/8 inches tall. The cooking surface measures 9 1/2 inches across. Weighs in at only 4 pounds 5 ounces. Sits flat on a glass surface with no wobble or spinning. The exterior surface is excellent with a crisp, clear logo and lettering. The interior cooking surface is nice and smooth with typical marks from age and use. About Cast Iron Archaeology. Restoring vintage and antique cast iron cookware is my passion. For me this is a labor of love. The difference between my cast iron and the others out there is the attention to detail. First, I strip it down to the bare iron with my all-natural process. Then, I season each piece using a combination of beeswax and natural oils. Seasoning takes one hour at a time in a 450-degree oven and is repeated as many times as it takes to achieve that nice glossy coating. The entire process takes about a week to complete. This is a professional restoration done right from start to finish and I would put my cast iron up against any you can find online or anywhere else. Thank you for considering a product from Cast Iron Archaeology! Some as old as 120 plus years. And they have seen much use. They are not perfect. They will have utensil marks and small scrapes and nicks. We try to point out any significant abnormalities or damage in our listings. When it is stated that the skillet is flat, it means that there is no bow, wobble or spin. It is very rare that a vintage cast iron skillet will have absolutely no movement on a glass surface. Most were not perfect coming out of the foundry. There will likely be some small amount of movement on a flat surface. If the skillet is absolutely perfect, I will definitely point that out.
