Maker and exact age of this small stove is unknown. Stove was found disassembled and 2 of the 3 flanges on the center (potbelly) part had broken off; a metal band with flanges was fabricated to fasten the’belly’ to the top part (see pics). The stove was reassembled securely and a fresh coat of paint applied. Stove appears complete (see pics), includes stove pipe & elbow and lift handle for the burner lids. Flat cook-top area measures about 20-3/4″ x 13-3/4″, cook-top height is about 21 from floor. Stove weighs about 70lbs. Local Pick-Up is advised. CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS, COMMENTS, OR CONCERNS. Very Charming Antique Pot Belly. About 100 years old, from the quick research I have done. Stove it marked: J. Very little light rust on the inside. This is normal and not an issue, but it it bugs you, the slight surface rust on the inside could easily be removed with vinegar. A bottom plate and pipe could be added to make this a working stove to hold coal or word. Or with it’s compact size, it makes a great decor piece. It is about 15″ wide at the base, and stands about 24″ high. This is about the size of the stoves that where often found in train station around the turn of the Century, late 1800s to early 1900s. 29 UNION CABOOSE CAST IRON Stove. In Very nice Condition for it’s age with normal, Obvious Patina from being out in the elements. There are 2 Cracks in the Stove to mention (SEE PICS). #1 Crack is on the TOP/FRONT. #2 Crack is Backside Bottom (LEFT). The Chimney is non-original but works. The Doors/Dampers are a bit tight But functional. This Stove would Clean up Very Nicely and Be a Great CAMP Stove Or Decor Piece! – This Stove has been outside for a while Not sure how long exactly? Everything appears to be functional as far as if it would actually burn wood/Coal- (It has a load of Kindling in it now) So. This is a Acorn Oak 150 wood burning parlor stove late 1800, s. It stands 57 in. Tall and is 24 in x 24 in at the base. The nickle has been polished and sealed but not renickel plated. There is a crack in the top beauty ring and 4 bolts have been welded to one of the rocker bars but other than that it’s all there and in great shape ready to be fired up.
