In Seymour, Indiana, touted Thayer’s Household Combination. ” The item also said “that for ingenuity and adaptation of many and various uses excels anything we have ever seen or heard of. It lifts dishes, pies, stove covers, ash pans; is useful in carrying or emptying any kind of vessel; and is a capital stand for a sad-iron or teapot and a beefsteak pounder equal to the best.
