Jacob's Manufacturing Co. No. 16 Potbelly Stove Cast Iron, Late 1800's
Late 1800’s/early 1900’s Jacobs’ Manufacturing Company No. 16 cast iron pot belly stove. Very little information online about this particular stove. Jacob’s Manufacturing was founded in 1890 in Bridgeport, Alabama. From what I can find, they were a foundry for producing various cast iron stoves until the mid 1900’s.

Antique Jacobs Line Heating & Cooking Cast Iron Coal Stove (Item #350)
For your consideration is an Antique Jacobs Line Heating & Cooking Cast Iron Coal Stove. This stove measures about 32 inches in height and about 24 inches in width at the widest part. The pipe is about 3 ft tall. The name plate on the back reads as follows to the best that I can make out: The Jacobs Line, Established 1890, Corresponding Regarding This Unit, Please Refer To, Model No 208, Name Glow, Jacobs Manufacturing Co, Bridgeport, Alabama. As you can see in the photo the hopper is corroded and needs repair. The back part has come apart from the rest of the hopper. Also, one of the legs (the back left one) has come off. I have taken a picture of the underside of the stove where it should be. This stove is in very good condition other than the 2 flawed items I listed above. This would be a great accent piece for a parlor, living room, recreational game room, etc…
