A rarity of a find even amongst vintage cooking appliances. This is a 1960 Wedgewood-Holly, 30 drop-in gas stove, recently removed from its original home. This listing is for (2) of these stoves, one in working condition and the other held in storage for parts with the potential of resurrecting. The working Wedgewood had been kept in continuous working operation over all these years. The cast iron burners had been previously enameled. This stove is not electrified. The lower left compartment is for storage. These stoves had been removed from rental units. When this stove was last cleaned, the oven’s pilot may have been damaged or clogged; the oven’s pilot kept going out resulting in a gas leak. As much as I love the mid-century aesthetic of these appliances, they are not worth keeping operational at the risk of jeopardizing my tenant’s safety. With the extra stove and the modern revolution in custom manufacturing, someone more versed in vintage appliances can fully revive these. Made in Culver City, California.
