Antique ornate cast iron stove vent / damper door assembly with beautiful Victorian-era floral and scrollwork detailing. This piece came from an old stove parts lot recovered from Michigan and appears to be from a late 1800s to early 1900s parlor stove, cook stove, or heating stove. Features decorative cast iron construction, sliding center draft vent, and original spring-style handle. The center vent slider still moves as shown. Nice old piece of cast-iron, from Akron Ohio. Does have some minor rusting but a beautiful deco industrial look, and a great owl design. Measures 23 1/2 x 16 1/4.
