Antique CASTOR Laundry Coal Stove excellent condition.. No brakes no cracks no chips no damage. The coal grate and shaker are in excellent condition. It stands 22 inches high and the top surface is 15 in x 22 in. This is a COAL stove originally made for heating up tubs of water for doing laundry back in the bad old days. THIS MIGHT BE A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A TINY HOUSE STOVE. THAT’S BECAUSE IT DOES NOT TAKE UP A LOT OF ROOM. You can burn wood in it that’s because you can burn wood in anything… But this is a stove specifically designed for use with pea coal or nut coal. This stove could be cleaned up and polished easily and it would look beautiful. Thank you very much.
