Stove is in decent condition but is missing the top burner cover/decoration and has some wear and corrosion throughout. Mica on the door is in good shape, some panels are not installed but there is a very full bag of unused “tiles” included. Brackets seem to need to be carefully slightly bent straight for the top two standing decorative panels so they sit just right. Ventilation shafts may need shielded around the borders as shown in the last pictures. Also I’m not sure if that hole is supposed to be like that in the center pipe as shown in the second picture. The item is in beautiful condition with minimal wear. I have added many close up photos, please review them. There is some standard wear as expected with a lightly used item of this age. One handle looks to have been somewhat burned at some point as shown in photos. Some discoloration on surface, but hard to even see. Maybe a minute chip or two, but overall in gorgeous shape. I did thoroughly scrub the piece, but stopped short of attempting to use more abrasive materials. I wanted to leave that up to the eventual owner. Rare Martin No 14 cast iron skillet in seasoned condition. The cooking surface on these skillets. The surface retains c. Anomalies that were transferred during the casting process. The surface is smooth to the touch but there are a few bumps. There are no signs of utensil scoring or corrosion. Four sheets of printer paper slipped under one edge stops movement on a granite surface. Test for flatness of Pan. With the pan resting on a polished granite surface, press down all along the top rim of the pan searching for movement. If movement is found, slip pieces of printer paper under one edge of the pan until pan stops moving. This item is from an old collection that was cleaned and seasoned, then stored for many years. Because item was stored for many years, there may be spots of light surface rust. This can generally be washed away then re-seasoned before use. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item may take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light.
