Army Cannon Heater no. 20 made by the Excelsior Stove Mfg. Is a massive pot belly stove measuring 56 inches high and the feet measure 30 inches across. It probably weighs between 400 and 500 pounds. It has been completely rebuilt and is ready to be put into service. This is the largest wood & Coal burning stove used by the U. Army to heat the Army Barracks from around 1890 to 1950. It has been completely dis assembled, cleaned, repairs made where necessary, the top collar crack has been re-enforced with a steel plate bolted to the inside and sealed with the cement, the rear upper half of the barrel has a new steel bolting tab added in the back and the joint properly cemented, the cracked flange there is only superficial as are the sections of the flange on the upper collar. All of these have been properly sealed. Re assembled with all new fasteners, seams sealed with Rutland Metal & Masonry Cement and re coated with Rutland Stove Polish. An impressive large stove that will easily heat a Cabin, small home or Shop space in the coldest Climate. It is on a 4 wheel dolly for loading on a trailer or a fork lift is available for loading on a truck. The item “U. S.
