FANCY antique cast iron toy stove from my personal collection…. Manufactured by J & E Stevens in the early 1900’s…. Measures 11 1/2″ wide (with hearth shelf attached), 11 3/4″ tall to the top of the back-piece, 6 1/2″ tall to the stovetop, with the stovetop alone measuring 9 1/2″ wide by 6 deep…. EXCELLENT, complete, original condition…. Original nickel-plating is about as good as it gets for a 120-year-old toy stove…. Only flaws are minor…. I’m going to call this a salesman sample rather than a toy. A very large (20 wide, 11 deep, and 19 high) MICHIGAN STOVE CO. BUCK’S BRILLIANT’ COOK STOVE. Circa 1889, a black cast iron stove with nickel plated accents, double hearth doors and shelf below, an ornate branded back splash with shelf, seven burner cooktop with lids, three oven doors on the front, signed on the backsplash and on the hearth shelf. Excellent condition with small broken eyelet (see photo) not affecting integrity of the piece. A word about condition. Those of you who have.
