Own a piece of Hagerstown history. Very rare mid 1800’s cast iron wood burning stove cast at the J. The stove has some very light surface oxidation but is very solid with no rust damage. The stove has the 4 original removable legs. Please exam the photo’s for item condition. I’m happy to answer any questions. An image of the Hagerstown Foundry was included in detail on the map of Hagerstown 1850 by J. C Sidney (see photo). This Item is for local pick-up only. The item “J. R. This a a rare one indeed. It’s rare to find a W. Y cast iron griddle but this one is large and really HTF. This is exactly how I found it on the farm so it’s about as “Farm Fresh” as you can get it. It’s a very heavy piece of antique rusty gold. Please use photos to judge the piece as you will get exactly what you see. Notice in pic #4 the two metal twists.
