This is a wonderful old child’s size or salesman sample size, cast iron stove. It is marked Charter Oak No. One is a waffle maker, The stove would actually work as it was a copy of the larger ones that mom bought. There are 6 little doors. There is a large door on the front that opens and a large door on the back that opens. Not sure why, maybe it was used as a display piece for the larger stoves. The small door on the front opens, but the small one on the back does not, it is just simulated. There are 3 doors on the end that open, (to clean out the ash I suppose)The stove has no damage or repairs, but one of the trivets on the top is a replacement, can only tell because the lifter hole is smaller. The stove measures about 14 inches tall and is about 20 inches long and about 11 inches deep. Pretty heavy, weighs about 30 lbs. 8/15/18 – The doors and legs have been nickle plated for display, the last picture was the before. This is a salesman sample cook stove that is in great shape and seams to have most of its original parts. This stove is very solid no cracks or brakes has been painted at some point in time and you can tell that they painted over a lot of the nickel plate. This stove stands 30 1/2 inch high x 17 1/2 wide x 15 1/2 deep. I don’t have a way to weigh this but would guess it is about 50 lbs. If you have any questions call 916 768 5466 Mike. An antique Buck’s Junior 2 cast iron stove, very heavy. Mostly complete and missing some of the factory pieces, also one of the circular burner covers was replaced with a plastic piece. Normal wear and patina to cast iron, one rear leg is loose although the stove will stand with it in place. Junior “The Great Majestic” antique 19th century 1870’s cast iron stove. This is the rare salesman sample! Comes with everything shown in photos. Has both upper side detachable Majestic shelves. Had right side Stove detachable Majestic shelf. Comes with 2 original Majestic cast iron pans (shown in photos). And one handle that’s attached to front left side (not exactly sure what parts called). Comes with original oven rack (shown in photos). Everything opens/closes and works perfectly. Stove could use a cleaning. Even a wet rag shines it up quite a bit but I only did one small spot. This stove is stunning in the current condition as it is. Would love to see it when it’s all shined up! Overall this is in great condition, especially for its age. Does have one small rusted corner on back bottom right (as shown in photos). Condition is exactly as shown in photos so please use your own best personal judgement as well. So please feel free to ask any questions beforehand. I will include photos of the process and which screws go where. Very simple setup (just the four screws for the top). I’m going to call this a salesman sample rather than a toy. A very large (20 wide, 11 deep, and 19 high) MICHIGAN STOVE CO. BUCK’S BRILLIANT’ COOK STOVE. Circa 1889, a black cast iron stove with nickel plated accents, double hearth doors and shelf below, an ornate branded back splash with shelf, seven burner cooktop with lids, three oven doors on the front, signed on the backsplash and on the hearth shelf. Excellent condition with small broken eyelet (see photo) not affecting integrity of the piece. A word about condition. Those of you who have.
