Antique Cast Iron Stove from 1960's with brass finials
This beautiful Antique Cast Iron Stove was used for a decorative purpose only, in a ski lodge in North Conway NH. It dates back to the late 1960’s and is very heavy. The company that built it is the W. Jackson Co, which is now located on Long Island NY. Stoves such as these are featured in Country Living Magazine, and Historic New England Magazine.

This Lopi Endeavor Stove was installed in November 1999 and is scheduled to be de-installed on October 26. See complete stove description below. Equipped with a rear bypass damper to reduce smoke coming out of the front doors during startups, the Endeavor is perfect for medium to large sized homes. With a rear clearance of 4 1/4” to combustible surfaces, it’s one of the closest clearances in the industry meaning you can install the stove closer to a rear surface and save space. The stove can heat 1,200 to 2,000 square feet and the 2.2 cubic foot firebox can handle logs up to 18 inches in length and burn up to 10 hours between loads. The Cricket Ash Vac is 16 tall and is missing the chrome wand on the hose assembly but still works great. The Fireplace Tool Set is hand forged wrought iron and includes a broom, shovel tong & poker. The Pilgrim Black Ash Holder is used but like new. The Hearth Pad is a corner unit that is Double Cut. Are 54″ x 44″ Owners manuals and instructions for the stove & ash vac will be provided. A friend of mine just got a more modern stove with a glass door and gave me this to sell and split with him. He just bought his house last year and used this stove all last winter with no problems. He replaced it because he didnt like the butterfly doors. Anyway there is nothing wrong/broken about this stove – it worked great for him. An antique very beautiful Cathedral iron Stove. It stands 29″ X 12″ across (74cm X 31cm) This stove is in very good condition for its age. The door opens and closes as it should, the top lifts of, and the oil lamp base lifts out, and the door and top section have solid brass handles. There was 4 ceramic panels fitted but 2 broke so I have replaced them with Red perspex ones. The original clasps that hold the panel in place have one missing but the panels stays in place. The brass oil lamp with a rising key mechanism is in great condition, but will need a wick. On the filler and winder is a picture of a star or similar. On some sections there are the same numbers carved in being RD no 261769. We will answer any questions you may have. For any weight up to. And 50p per K thereafter.
