Hello, This is a Very Much Likeness to the Wagner No. 4 Pancake Griddle with 4 Sections having a 4 Diameter. These are pretty rare and hard to come by. I believe it has been Ghost Marked with a Slip over the original Wagner Markings and the Size of the Wagner being a No. 4 has been changed to a No. The good Incised No. 8 on the back of the Round Pancake Side has another No. 8 that was too faint about an inch above it. It also has the same No. 8 mark on the reverse of the Oval Cooking Surface. The Handle was also shortened in order to define the difference between the Wagner version and this one. Wagner may have made this piece for another company and made the changes to define the difference in them? It is also possible that someone bought the mold and made the changes there? The Length of this piece is about 20 3/8 from the Outside Edge of the Lift Handle to the Opposite Side. Outside Edge of the Lift Handle. This true salesman sample has all the features that the regular size Quick Meal Cookstove has with all the same workable features. I’d like to give an honorable mention to some of the features which include the six burners with their covers, the grates that will rotate to dump into the tin lined pan below, the drop down oven door, & the 3 sliding vents and damper for ventilation on the stove, the lifter…. & even has the attached stove pipe : This is an actual functioning / workable stove and more often than not these were used by little girls to learn to cook just like their mother. It is still in its amazing original condition & as I stated earlier… EVERYTHING IS ORIGINAL on it. There is some nickel wear, and signs of normal use but the condition is still excellent. What a cute and heart warming piece. Here’s a chance to own a stove like great grandma…. Only in 1/16 the size, weight and work! These salesman sample cook stoves are so hard to find… Let alone in this condition. Measures 26-1/2 ” high with the top canopy & chimney x 17-1/4″ wide x 16-1/4 deep with front handles included. Everything complete & nothing has been replaced… My husband liked it so much that we kept it all these years, but eventually you know how it goes… We are now in our 70’s & we need to downsize all the “keepers” we thought we would never sell!
