THE 3 PRONG SAFETY SKILLET IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND MOST MARTIN COLLECTORS WILL NOT HAVE ONE OF THESE IN THEIR COLLECTION. NOT MADE FOR LONG BY MARTIN, ONLY A FEW YEARS. THIS ONE HAS NO CHIPS OR CRACKS AND SITS GOOD ON GLASS WITH ONLY ONE OR TWO PLAYING CARDS FOR DEAD LEVEL, ABOUT AS GOOD AS YOU WILL GET IN A MARTIN PIECE (MARTIN SKILLETS WHERE NEVER CASTED AND MADE TO A HIGH STANDARD LIKE GRISWOLD PIECES). ANTIQUE CAST IRON L. MEAD CHIMNEY DUTCH OVEN DOOR CLEAN OUT VERY CLEAN READY TO USE. Would make a nice pizza oven door. It measures 16 1/8″ wide x 12 1/4″ high x 2 1/2″ deep at the frames edge, the inside measure for the opening required would be 12 3/4″ wide x 9 high. Hard to find one this nice in good working order. The half moon damper on the front works easily, Great condition, I see no cracks or breaks. It was completely cleaned and finished in a high heat black that gives it an Original patinaed look. What a great looking Handle and Nice design. The top damper parts work well.

1936 Sears Golden Jubilee Art Deco dutch oven Very nice Columbus Iron works I foundt he info on this Dutch Oven on The Cast Iorn Collector forums page According to the site, it was offered in 1936 in Sears Golden Jubilee Catalog. 7 1/4″ tall from bottom to top of handle, 9 1/4″ diameter on the base Need ssme clean up but overall nice, it came from a vintage estate. No cracks or chips to the iron. I knocked the side of lower pan and the lid, both have a ring to them indicating no cracks. Guaranteed Old & Original.
