Antique cast iron woodstove / wood stove teapot or kettle. The lid is marked S. 1869 0-25, kettle is marked Troy N. Has a hand forged handle. It is painted black on the outside. Inside is dirty with water stains. The mark is for Stephan Spoor’s Stove Furniture and was made by the Foxell & Jones foundry in Troy NY. The lid has three holes, I do not know if it was for venting or a handle, but the very few I seen when researching had no handle also. Size from spout end to pot back is 9 1/2″ x 7″ wide x 6 1/2 tall. It weighs 5 pounds 4 ounces. It has NO chips, cracks or repairs.
