Original genuine set of 4 Signed “FISHER STOVE” bear paw-claw feet. They are in original condition as found. These are old feet and most of the plating has worn off. You can paint them chrome, black, or leave them as is. Solid set with NO cracks or chips. I believe they will fit any square leg Fisher woodstove. OLD ANTIQUE “PITTSBURG” CAST IRON HEATER/ SMOKER/ STOVE. MEASURES 54″ TALL BY 20″ IN DIAMETER. I DID A LOT OF RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET ON PITTSBURG STOVES AND COULD NOT FIND ANY INFORMATION ON THIS ITEM… IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU LET ME KNOW. ADORNED WITH 8 RAISED LIONS HEADS (6 ON THE LID AND 2 BELOW THE PITTSBURG MARK). SIX SETS OF NUMBERS ON TOP BELOW THE LID SHOWN ON ONE OF THE PICTURES. NUMBERS S-400-1-4 ON THE BROKEN PIECE THAT GOES BELOW LID ON TOP WHICH NEEDS TO BE WELDED BACK ON. TWO DOORS ON THE FRONT AND TWO ON THE BACK IN THE MIDDLE. HOLES ON TOP, MIDDLE AND BOTTOM. C Antique Cast Iron Stove & Cauldron. Stands 35″ tall with a very large cauldron measuring 24″ top diameter. Stove base is a rectangular 30″ x 18″ at the longest parts. Cast marked on both sides “Twenty Two Gallons” & cast marked on stove door Orr, Painter & Co. In antique very used condition with expected losses including metal loss at front left bottom corner, metal loss front lower edge, rust thru at base of flue extension & one bracket broken at inside base (all shown in pictures). Rust on all surfaces. Stove is made up of a base & 4 sides, all held together by a top collar. Cauldron rests inside the collar & has a farm handmade handled tin lid. Once collar is removed, stove comes apart into 5 pieces. Very old post civil war era piece that was used for fat rendering. Stove can still be used as is or metal repairs can be made. Fresh find from Western Virginia Country Estate is this Rare Antique cast iron stove pipe heat exchanger. Often referred to as a stove radiator these worked on the simple principle of salvaging heat from the stove pipe and moving it to the room thru convection. Popular during the turn of the century with parlor stoves its cast Victorian design matches the ornate details found on these stoves and increased the warmth they produced. You find a number of different designs in old catalogs for sale but it is extremely rare to find even the parts from one much less a complete example. This survivor was made in Ephrata, Pa between 1898 and 1901 when Sprecher Brothers Manufacturing appears to have been bought out by another company From catalogs searches it appears they made 4 different models including this 9 National model which appeared in a 1899 catalog calling it a deluxe model fitting for the most fancy parlor rooms As the pictures show this one while a survivor of over a 115 years does show a few scars with minor scrapes and dings in the tin jacket covering that you would expect to see. It even sports a hole where it looks like something feel or dropped on it puncturing the tin. The Cast iron top and bottom show traces of the original factory finish as you can see in the pictures Wonderful piece of history and one of our favorite finds. I bought this coal/wood stove at an antique store in Munich, Germany in the 1980s Although I never used it, it probably works as an oven. I just loved it as an antique and decoration piece. It is from the late 19th century Brand: Swoboda The words “Turen Schliessen” = close the door, are engraved There are two compartments that open. The lower one catches the ashes. I had it next to my chimney as decoration. Downsizing and moving soon, so I need to part with it. I think it weighs around 50-60 pounds. Two people can carry it. Rare and beautiful piece.. This a a rare one indeed. It’s rare to find a W. Y cast iron griddle but this one is large and really HTF. This is exactly how I found it on the farm so it’s about as “Farm Fresh” as you can get it. It’s a very heavy piece of antique rusty gold. Please use photos to judge the piece as you will get exactly what you see. Notice in pic #4 the two metal twists.
