Junior “The Great Majestic” antique 19th century 1870’s cast iron stove. This is the rare salesman sample! Comes with everything shown in photos. Has both upper side detachable Majestic shelves. Had right side Stove detachable Majestic shelf. Comes with 2 original Majestic cast iron pans (shown in photos). And one handle that’s attached to front left side (not exactly sure what parts called). Comes with original oven rack (shown in photos). Everything opens/closes and works perfectly. Stove could use a cleaning. Even a wet rag shines it up quite a bit but I only did one small spot. This stove is stunning in the current condition as it is. Would love to see it when it’s all shined up! Overall this is in great condition, especially for its age. Does have one small rusted corner on back bottom right (as shown in photos). Condition is exactly as shown in photos so please use your own best personal judgement as well. So please feel free to ask any questions beforehand. I will include photos of the process and which screws go where. Very simple setup (just the four screws for the top). THIS IS AN ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY CAST IRON FRENCH ENAMELED GAS PARLOR STOVE CIRCA 1880 THAT IS MARKED ON THE MOUNTS AND BURNER PARTS OF THE STOVE. THE BACK OF THE MOUNTS ARE MARKED “PROPRIETAIPE” WHILE THE BURNER PARTS ARE MARKED SYSTEME BREVETE S. IT IS AN INCREDIBLY LAVISH PIECE THAT I BELIEVE WAS ONCE IN ONE OF THE VANDERBILT ESTATES, MOST LIKELY AN ESTATE FROM LONG ISLAND N. ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE BOTTOM CAST IRON ENAMELED PLATE WAS THE NAME VANDERBILT WRITTEN IS SCRIPT CHALK, THE “V” IS MISSING AS IT WAS ACCIDENTLY VACUUMED UP ALONG WITH COB WEBS. FOR TODAYS STANDARDS AND FIRE CODES. REVIEW ALL PHOTOS CAREFULLY AND ASK QUESTIONS, ADDITIONAL PHOTOS CAN BE FURNISHED UPON REQUEST. THIS CAST IRON ENAMED STOVE WITH SEPERATE. BOTTOM PLATE IS VERY HEAVY, IT LIKELY WIEGHS 150 – 250 LBS. MY SCALE ONLY WEIGHS ITEMS UP TO 150LBS. IT MEASURES 26 INCHES W X 15 INCHES DEEP X 33 INCHES TALL AT THE LARGEST DIMENSIONS. WHEN SITTING ON THE BOTTOM PLATE. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF MINOR CONDITION ISSUES WHICH NEED MENTIONING, THERE IS A CHIP TO THE BOTTOM ENAMEL PLATE IN THE FRONT (SEE PHOTO) THERE IS A SMALL BEND IN ONE OF THE BRASS RAM HEAD MOUNTS (SEE PHOTO) AND ONE OF THE FRONT BRASS SCREW IN LEGS IS MISSING AND HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY REPLACED WITH A BRASS PIECE OF THE SAME SIZE (SEE PHOTO). Rare antique cast iron broiler for gas stove. The broiler is vented and has a small spout on the side. This is a very unusual piece that I have never seen before but someone has informed me that it is a broiler for gas stoves and it should have a tin lid, but I’m sure it could be used for other purposes or just to make an unusual addition to your cast iron collection. Please examine all pictures for further description. The pan is in excellent condition it appears to have never been used. It is an excellent rare cast iron oddity. I’m sure it will make a great addition to your collection. Measurement: 10 inches across not including handle or spout. The handle is 4.75 inches long. The stove is a Bucks Jr. #4 which was made by the Wings & Parsons MFG. And i found a very old newspaper clipping inside the cast iron kettle which i included a picture of with the other photos. THIS STOVE IS HUGE!! MUCH LARGER AND HEAVIER THAN THE OTHERS LISTED HERE. PLEASE WRITE IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR NEED MORE PICTURES BECAUSE IT ONLY PERMITTED 12. But most of these ended up in a smale childs room as a toy being they were so realistic. The stove actually takes coal or wood and works and has small versions of all the kettles and skilletts which are very heavy and well made also. The two are numbered Consecutively , The Coal Bucket is Numbered 314 and the Kettle is 315.
