HUGE & fancy antique cast iron toy stove from my personal collection…. Manufactured by Kenton c. This was the 4th largest stove that Kenton produced…. Measures 19 3/4″ wide (with hearth and side shelves attached), 16 1/4″ tall to the stovepipe, 16″ tall to the tip of the back-piece, 9″ tall to the stovetop, with the stovetop alone measuring 13″ wide by 7 1/4″ deep…. SUPERB original electro-oxidized finish…. Complete with original cookware…. Minor, expected oxidation in areas…. ANTIQUE 1910 KENTON TOYS MINIATURE CAST IRON & STEEL CHILDS TOY COOK STOVE GREEN. This is the antique toy version of the old wood burning cast iron cooking stoves that were used to cook meals and warm the house. This one is by Kenton Hardware Co. In Kenton, Ohio founded by F. Known worldwide for their toys, the Kenton Hardware Company was promoted as “the largest factory in the USA exclusively making cast iron toys” at the turn of the 20th century. The factory produced a variety of toys that were miniature versions of fire engines, circus wagons, carriages, banks, trains and stoves. This antique green KENTON VENUS stove was made right around 1910 of steel and cast iron. It has all 4 burner lids or covers and also includes a lid lifter to remove them. It has a beautifully decorated opening main oven door as well as a removable ornate side extension. The stove displays very well & is in wonderful condition with some age related rust spots that give it an amazing old original antique look. It weighs 2 pounds and measures 5″ tall by 8 1/2″ wide with the extension. A lovely collector’s piece! Track Page Views With. Auctiva’s FREE Counter. Antique Kenton Royal Cast Iron Toy Salesman Sample Stove Miniature 1800s. Includes removable griddles, pan, smoke stack, and accessories and opening and closing doors. From the estate of Swing Era and Hollywood musician, bandleader, and arranger Joe Reisman. This stove was from the personal collection of his wife, and it was previously owned by a Helen Clark as a child in 1905. However, I haven’t been able to determine if Helen Clark was a person of notoriety or a historical figure as of yet. Some rust on inside. A couple of original parts may be missing. Smoke stack needs to be re-glued. Includes vintage 70s newspaper article about the collectable value of antique salesman sample stove miniatures. Measurements: 9 x 6 x 17 (with smoke stack assembled). Height= 6 inches without smoke stack. Thank you for visiting my store! Dimensions: little less than 7.5″ tall, base is 4.5″ wide by 4″ deep, top of stove (where the pans go) is 5.5″ wide x 3.5 deep. Kenton Toys Favorite Cast Iron & Nickel Toy Stove. 2 x Cast Iron Burner Cover. 1 x Cast Iron Toy Sauce Pan. 1 x Cast Iron Saute Pan. Some surface rust on the pans & on some areas inside & outside the stove. Doors are all in good condition. Comes w/ 2 pans & 2 burner covers. The back metal piece has been moved/slightly bent, see pictures for more description. Though package carriers can sometimes come up with surprising ways to damage a package no matter how meticulously I pack it!
