Sweet little wood stove Made in USA “Shipmate Skippy” The Stamford Foundry Co. This stove is in “Excellent Solid Usable condition”!!!!! Could use a fresh coat of stove paint. I believe it sat with water in for a short period of time, or just the Florida Humidity, which is why it got the rusty color inside. Stands 13.25 inches tall at pan railing. It is 17.75 inches wide at its widest point where the pans would sit side by side. The base (feet) 10 inches x 12 inches. From front to the back of where the pipe comes out is 14 inches. The removable round cast pan plates are 7.25 inches each. The inner burning area grate is 10.75 by 5 inches. 6.50 inch x 3 inch flue pipe required. I HAVE THIS ANTIQUE 1876 CULTER & PROCTOR WOOD STOVE MADE IN PEORIA ILL. THIS IS THE BEST LOOKING STOVE I EVER OWNED I HAVE OWNED A BUNCH OVER THE YEARS , THE STOVE WAS LEFT JUST LIKE I GOT IT READY TO RESTORE OR LEAVE IT LIKE IT IS, IF YOU LOOK AT SOME OF MY OTHER ITEMS I HAVE OR HAD I LIKE TO RESTORE THEM BUT THIS STOVE LOOKS SO NICE LIKE IT IS, I HAD TO LEAVE IT ALONE. The size is 38”L 19”W 38”H to top of finial not sure of weight but heavy. LOOKING IT OVER THERE ARE A COUPLE OF THINGS WRONG WITH THIS STOVE TILES NEED REPLACED I THOUGHT I SEEN A SMALL CRACK ON THE BACK BUT I CANT FIND IT NOW, I THINK IT COULD HAVE BEEN A FOUNDRY MARK , REMEMBER THIS STOVE IS 140 YEARS OLD, I THINK THERE WAS A CAST IRON LIP BY THE FRONT DOOR I SEE 2 HOLES THERE , LOOK CLOSE TO THE PICTURES ALSO A COUPLE FOUNDRY MARKS LOOK LIKE CRACKS OR CHIPS BUT THEY ARE JUST FOUNDRY MARKS. I FOUND 1 OTHER FOR SELL A 1886 CUTLER & PROCTOR WOOD STOVE I ADMIGHT IT IS VERY VERY NICE IF YOU LIKE THAT KIND OF NICE [I’M MORE OF THE RUGGED LOOK] THERE ASKING 4500 FOR THERES AND I THINK IT’S WORTH IT. I TOOK THIS OUT TO THE LOCAL FLEAMARKET , YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE THE PEOPLE STOPPING TO SEE IT , IT WAS A VERY SLOW CROWD [HEAT INDEX 117] , BUT I BET 100 OR MORE PEOPLE HAD TO STOP AND ASK ABOUT IT , THIS IS NOT A ANTIQUE FLEAMARKET ETHER, THIS IS A SHOW STOPPER THE PICTURES DON’T DO IT JUSTICE , ONE LADY SAID TO MAKE A TABLE OUT OF IT SO I HAD A PIECE OF GLASS AND SET IT ON THE FINIAL IT LOOKED GREAT, SHE SAID SHE THOUGHT IT SHOULD BE WORTH 3500 SHE WAS A ANTIQUE DEALER , ALSO THIS IS THE 100 YEAR ANNIVERSERY OF AMERICA, I THOUGHT OF DOING EAGLES AND FLAGS IN THE CERAMIC PIECES , I’M NOT SURE WHAT WAS THERE BUT I FOUND 1 THAT HAD A LADY’S BUST ON THE FRONT. HEADING TO south Carolina next week maybe Detroit also. I MAY BE HEADING NORTH TO CHATTANOOGA TENN LATE THIS WEEK OR EARILY NEXT WEEK. ALL OF MY ITEMS ARE FOR SALE ELSE WHERE , SO DON’T WAIT YOU COULD MISS OUT. Vtg Antique Green and White porcelain cast iron gas cook Cooking oven with 4 stove Burners. Not sure if last letter is a g or c?? . 37 1/2″ wide x 37 3/4″ tall x 25 deep. Fair to good condition, Untested!! All valves turn freely. Has some porcelain chips, Normal wear with age to the porcelain, scuffs and scratches and few other wear marks. Needs alot of cleaning, mainly inside, Alot of cooking grime, oven cleaner works great with a razor. Has Rust, one drip pan has rust holes and pitting. The drip pan can be removed and repaired by your local welder shop, or find a replacement if possible. Other parts have rust and need sanded and painted with heat paint. Oven control knob is broke and needs replaced. Missing two smaller knobs on left side and one large on the right bottom drawer. Beautiful stove in Need of TLC. Appears complete besides some minor parts, Took plenty of pictures if you need more. Untested but should work, there’s not much to these beside keeping the burner and valve parts clean. Drawers have the original rollers and work great, everything is good besides the one drip pan rust holes which would not be to costly of a repair. Mainly a good cleaning and some fresh oven paint.
