Exceptionally nice vintage Martin Stove and Range Co No 8 cast iron dutch oven in excellent restored condition. The cooking surface does has a few tiny pits from corrosion and is very smooth to the touch. Sheets of printer paper stops movement on a glass stove top. No chips, cracks or repairs to pot or lid. Pot does not spin. This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. Pan is well seasoned with several rounds of seasoning. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light.
