C Antique Cast Iron Stove & Cauldron. Stands 35″ tall with a very large cauldron measuring 24″ top diameter. Stove base is a rectangular 30″ x 18″ at the longest parts. Cast marked on both sides “Twenty Two Gallons” & cast marked on stove door Orr, Painter & Co. In antique very used condition with expected losses including metal loss at front left bottom corner, metal loss front lower edge, rust thru at base of flue extension & one bracket broken at inside base (all shown in pictures). Rust on all surfaces. Stove is made up of a base & 4 sides, all held together by a top collar. Cauldron rests inside the collar & has a farm handmade handled tin lid. Once collar is removed, stove comes apart into 5 pieces. Very old post civil war era piece that was used for fat rendering. Stove can still be used as is or metal repairs can be made.
