Perfect for a TINY HOUSE.. Museum Quality Medallion No. 18 Cast Iron Boxwood Stove pat. Condition is Lightly Used. This small wood stove is in fantastic condition it looks like it belongs in a museum. The casting relief designs are beautiful and unique for a stove like this. There is no damage to the casting whatsoever. It stands 19 and 1/4 inch high it has a 16 by 20 foot print the inside of the firebox is 17 long by 8 wide by 11 inches high. The front opening is 5 and a half inches wide by 6 5/8 inch high, the top opening is 9 in Long by 6 inch wide, the exit pipe is 5 in in diameter the lid is 6 3/8 in in diameter. The stove would be perfect for a small room in a house in an insulated cabin or a Tiny House. The top opens by flipping it backwards the disc in the top cannot be removed unless the two tabs are lined up with the slots in the top plate so the disc will not fall out when you are top loading the stove. None of these older stoves were completely airtight. The stove weighs approximately 50 lb. Here is a neat item, an 1884 dated cast iron miniature stove that apparently was used in railroad cars for heat. It was trademarked the “NEW ECONOMIST” and was made by John Strong Perry’s Oriental and American Stove Works of Albany, New York. Beautifully made of cast iron, it has mica (isinglass) panels to be able to view the flames from the three oil wick burners with brass hardware. The fill tank has a neat oval cast iron lid on the side. Takes white oil or kerosene. The entire top of the stove rocks back to allow one to replace a wick or service the burners. I have had this lit and it works very well, warming up an entire room. Comes with new wicks and extra isinglass. Condition is superb, this stove appears to have been completely restored and is complete with all parts. Measures: 13 x 13 x 17 h. Weighs approximately 25 lbs. 7-11 Boat Stove Measures 18″ wide x 14″ deep x 11½ high(to top of railing). It has two 7 burners. No cracks or welded repairs. Stove is all cast iron. The railing may have been modified or remade, ones I have seen are higher. This stove was taken apart, cleaned and reassembled. Hi temp stove cement was used on base and flue joints. It was coated with stove black and lightly polished(not painted). The center section between round plates had a little warping to it and I lightly ground it down here and there so it would seat better, the plates don’t sit perfectly flush. No plate lifter included.
