It is in excellent condition for its age. Kalamazoo porcelain wood burning stove, originating from the 1920’s. The Kalamazoo Stove company was founded in 1902 in Kalamazoo Michigan. In their 50 years of manufacturing, they produced several million stoves and furnaces. The stove features four burners and a warmer oven. The stove shows a brilliant teal and white paint job. The stove is in good condition overall with some rust from age & use. Great addition to any home or collection. Mirus Antique Cast Iron Enameled Stove Space Heater Circa 1920’s Paris France. This is a nice antique stove branded “Mirus” in close to working condition. The Front, top, sides, door and legs are green enameled cast iron. The enamel on the front and top is in nice condition for it’s age with only a few nicks and chips mostly on the top and back, The enamel on the fire door has more wear and chips due to the door being pushed shut with logs. Although there are quite a few chips in the. On the side and door of the stove, almost every Mirus stove I have seen has no. Left in these spots and some don’t even have the cast iron panel left. The stove is 18.5″ wide, 22.5″ tall and 11 Deep – Not counting the chimney and spacing need for proper safe use. We have ordered replacement Antique NOS Mica glass panels which will be here Dec. If not they will be sent out once they arrive here. Looks like someone took the time to add a fairly thick piece of sheet metal on top of the original roof sheet meta, l most likely to seal any pinholes so the stove would work without any unwanted leaks. This added metal can not be seen as the original enameled cast iron lid sits on top of that hiding it from sight. The bottom of the stove has a layer of thin fire brick that looks to have some cracks and a couple of missing pieces We are including new fire bricks for the bottom but not installing them. The stove uses a 3 chimney pipe which is NOT included. 3 x 3 ft. Having a qualified contractor to install the stove would be advised and most likely necessary. The reason being is that there are building codes that vary from region to region and those codes need to be strictly followed. After addressing these normal issues of installing a wood stove by a competent person, the stove could be used again if wished. Please look at the pictures closely and judge the condition, size and content of this lot for yourself as our photos are a large portion of our description. 1920s hybrid cast iron range with 4-burner gas. (and fire boxes), upper oven and lower oven, and warming drawer. Grey-blue and white enamel finish in excellent condition. Manufactured by Bridge Beach & Co. A true piece of Midwestern history. This rare fixture was lovingly cared for and used for decades as the primary. In a Victorian home in Evanston, IL until we acquired the home in early 2020. It is in full working order including gas hook up. Overall, it is in very good condition, though a few small areas could use a little degreasing and de-rusting. Is currently in our garage. Upper and lower segments detach with just a few screws for moving, but the base is very heavy and will require movers with some know how. Width of cooking surface is 42. Total height 63, and height to cooking surface is 32. Depth is 31 or 32 including recessed upper oven, 26.25 deep for rest of the unit. Front gas knobs extend the depth an additional 2.5 inches. Check out my other auctions for many more tin and other antique toys being listed! Extremely nice sheet steel and cast iron blue enameled Qualified Range Company wood burning stove. This was completely restored. This is a finely crafted stove that is steel plate with blue enamel and trimmed with nickle plated cast iron. Nice curved apron base with four nickel-plated legs and nickel bracketed back with rolled lid warming oven above! This toy is very heavy and measures an impressive 21″ tall x 12.75″ wide x 10 deep. It is a great scale and looks great with any miniatures or a doll standing next to it! It appeals to toy, salesman sample, doll and stove collectors alike! It appears to be complete with all doors, drawers, covers, knobs, and cast iron inserts, and shaker handle/lid lifter. Marked Qualified Range Co. It was completely restored at one time and has some replaced parts and screws. This was made to be used and there are cast iron inserts to create a heat shield within the stove surrounding the coals! A very nice stove being offered at no reserve! CONDITION: This toy displays in excellent condition. The previous owner had used the first one as a template to restore this one. One upper side appears that it may have been recasted, the back has a bend in the upper section as shown, there are some screws into the back and side that are not original, and the lower left drawer does not have any guides to hold it in place and I’m not sure if it is supposed to.
