Its in my barn past 25 years. Got it 200 miles north of Toronto Canada from my uncle. Very good condition, has heating oven in back. Its all made out of cast iron and is very ornate. I looked up this wood stove and the only one i could find was a. Again the base needs to be welded i had shown the pictures and their is only surface rust nothing thru the cast iron. What a cute example of the Quick Meal cook stove this salesman sample is. With all the features of the large stoves, this little stove has all the same workable features. Notice the six burners with their covers, the grades that will rotate to dump into the tin lined pan below, the drop down oven door, the open and shut vents and damper for ventilation on the stove. This is an actual workable stove that could have been used for a salesman sample and many times these were used by little girls to be used to learn and enjoy cooking just like their mother. This stove is still in its original condition. There is some wear, mainly the nickel is worn but the condition is still good. Notice that this stove even has the attached stove pipe attached to it. What a cute and heart warming piece this little stove is. You can enjoy all the feel of owning a stove like great grandma had, yet the size is much more manageable. What a great addition to your antique collection this stove would make. These little cook stoves are becoming harder and harder to find. This stove measures 17wide, and is 15 deep. This is absolutely lovely. Yes, it does have some missing chrome color, but still is a quality piece. Measures 7 5/8″ x 6 3/4″ approximately. You can see the lovely design and that wonderful acorn in the center. My mother used it as a trivet, but it weighs 2 lb. Above the acorn stem is a hole that would fit the swing arm for the stove. The back has the numbers 40 and 1902 raised on it. You can see the square that the hole/swing arm goes to. Looks great on the colonial table, or on the wall, nice vintage piece. Please check out my other items for sale. I do run sales often in case you want to wait for them. Anything in pictures that is not in description is probably not part of sale. I just had a fellow Ebayer tell me that his/her fiancée’s family had a Rathbone and Sard Acorn stove with this trivet attached. I hope that helps. This a a rare one indeed. It’s rare to find a W. Y cast iron griddle but this one is large and really HTF. This is exactly how I found it on the farm so it’s about as “Farm Fresh” as you can get it. It’s a very heavy piece of antique rusty gold. Please use photos to judge the piece as you will get exactly what you see. Notice in pic #4 the two metal twists.
