Up for your consideration is an amazing cast iron stove manufactured by Belknap Hardware and Manufacturing Co. This stove is obviously very heavy and measures just over 23 inches tall, 21.5 inches across at its widest point, and 20 inches deep. Markings on the top of the stove read: “BLACK CROW; BELKNAP HDW & MFG CO; LOUISVILLE KY” and NUMBER 130. I’ve done quite a bit of research on this stove and have turned up very little. Guessing this stove is very old and rare, but I’m not an expert. If you know more about this stove, I’d be grateful to learn about it. Please check out the photos. This stove is a neat piece of American and Louisville history. Please feel free to make reasonable offers. From an estaet sale, and old FULLER WARREN cast iron stove. I’d guess it was intended to be a wood burner, but I don’t know for sure. The interior plates are warped on one side, and it may not really be serviceable anymore. The previous owners painted it black with gold highlights. The second-to-last photo shows a side plate, intended to go between the legs on the long side. This plate broke, and they braze repaired it, but it broke again at some point. Even if you re-brazed it, you’d kind of want one for the other side. If nothing else, it could be a pattern for creating a copy. The last photo shows the decorative top piece over one end. I think it originally may have had another at the other end as well, but only this one is included. Despite the missing pieces, it’s still a very nice looking stove. Weight 200 lbs (Before packaging). Please provide a REAL address. This is at my discretion, for buyers with dodgy or low feedback. Contact me for details. I will NOT mark them as’gift’. I DO NOT under-declare item value on the invoice. I know how fragile cast iron is. I use newspaper for small items, and packing peanuts only for very light items. I use a variety of bubble wrap and peanut-packs for most mid-size items. Heavy items will be packaged using solid styrofoam block. It is very rare for the items I pack to be broken, as my feedback should attest. Especially on those large items. I can be flexible with scheduling – just ask!
