This vintage Griswold hinged double skillet is a true gem for any collector or home cook. Made in Erie, PA, this cast iron skillet features a round shape and is compatible with both electric and gas stoves. The top of the skillet has a 10 1/2 inch diameter, while the bottom has a 1o 1/2 inch diameter. The skillet is an original piece and comes with a frying pan. It is perfect for making delicious meals and is a great addition to any kitchen. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to own a piece of cookware history with this Griswold hinged double skillet. Both pieces sit flat, no cracks or repairs.
These Griswold Chef Skillets are a little harder to come by versus their Wagner counterparts. This one is very clean amd ready for some stir fry. The bottom is clean and the writing and logo are crisp and clear. The interior cooking surface is nice and still retains most of the factory finishing marks. This chef skillet, like most chef skillets does NOT sit flat and spins on a glass top stove. With that said, I would suggest only using this on a coil electric or gas stove. Has been cleaned via electrolysis and seasoned 1 time with my own blend of all natural Pennsylvania beeswax, crisco and olive oil. It has also been wiped down with a thin coat of food grade mineral oil to help prevent environmental rusting.
Griswold child’s cast iron kettle, 4-1/8 Dia. All I know of this piece; it was in a estate collection. Appears to be original. Sorry, Barbie NOT included??
