Marine Stove by Shipmate Stove Company. Low price due to fact that it does NOT have legs. Base is wood and not original; recommend for decorative use only. The stove is very heavy and should be installed differently if you want to use it. We made the base just for a decoration but it isn’t strong. Some of the photos look gray but the stove is actually flat black, painted with high temperature Rustoleum “High Heat” flat black. Also includes 4 fire bricks if you wish to rest stove on them during use. This came from my uncle but I’ve never used it; I know it is at least 35 years old. I have no idea what the “handle” is for or if it even is for this stove, it just came that way from my uncle. If you’re looking at this post, you likely know exactly what it is – and have probably been trying to find one for a long time. Very difficult to find. This is an original. Used in fishing boats, sail boats, remote cabins, etc. Has tie down rings in the sides and a mess rail on top to keep your pots from sliding away. Traditional wood or coal boat cook stove with oven. Intended for boats between 30′ and 65. Solid cast iron construction with adjustable steel oven rack. Four sided oven heating. Two 8 cast iron stove plates. Heat output of 24,000 to 36,000 BTU’s depending on fuel type & air intake/damper settings. 4 Flue pipe required. ANTIQUE CAST IRON PARLOR STOVE – HOME STOVE COMPANY NO. This parlor stove is for display only. When I got it the interior and top cap where damaged to severely to be repaired to the degree of reuse. So I fixed it up for a great display piece that has a electric lighting system in it. It has a fresh coat of paint and all the original glass. The nickle work is redone in crome paint to keep the cost down but still looks good. But due to the size and weight of this stove it is a puck up item only. Would look great in a cabin or Victorian house as a display piece and priced far below what a similar stove in working order would be.
