PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE DECIDING. This is a rare antique cast iron parlor stove art nouveau style late 1800’s early 1900’s this stove is as is for restoration repair. The stove stands 27″ tall by 17″ wide at the top 15 across the bottom. This stove has had repairs, the top has been stitch wielded and the lady on the left has been reattached. The ash drawer is missing , and the stove needs cleaning. This stove has the ash fall out the front of the stove as well as through the inside of the stove so I would not recommend burning in the stove this would make a great accent piece for a house restoration. The entire body of the stove is cast iron the underside of the bottom is tin. The body of the stove does not have damage the sides are not cracked the front doors are good. This stove has rods that hold the top to the bottom of the stove stand along with bolts, all have been replaced. The ladies are pined at the top and bottom so they come off when the top is removed. The the grate on the inside of the stove is too small for burning wood unless they are small pieces it would have been ideal for a smaller size coal. The finish on the top and the bottom of the stove need cleaned and refinished. I do not do refinishing on antiques. Again this is a rare one of a kind design in a parlor stove and quite unique making it a great addition to any century home restoration project. Up for your consideration is a GRISWOLD Erie Cast Iron 3-Burner Gas Line Stove Model No. Marked on top and bottom: Griswold, No. 503, The Griswold MFG CO, Erie PA. Measures approximately: 30″L x 13″W (including gas line) x 5 1/4H. I have not tested the stove. No cracks or breaks in the cast iron observed, but the bolts that secure legs and grate may possibly be rusted tight. I have not attempted to remove legs or grates. The knobs rotate as should and I believe this stove would function properly if connected to gas tank. I knock some of the rust off with wire brush and sprayed stove with WD-40 to help preserve the cast iron. Please see Photos and Thanks for Viewing! It has 6 burner covers, covered bread oven , flu and firebox tilting dump grate. It also includes pots, pans and coal bucket as shown. This beauty weighs in at about 16 pounds including accessories. Total width is 15″ x 8″ deep. The height to the cooktop is 9″ and overall height is 15″. The condition is excellent. The history of the Perfection Stove Company is quite interesting. In 1901, the owner of the Perfection Stove Company entered into an agreement with the Standard Oil Company owned by John D. Standard already had a group of 300 salesmen who were delivering kerosene to homes and businesses for use in kerosene lamps. By 1922, over 3,000,000 Perfection Stoves were in use in American homes. Excellent original condition overall with only minor signs of wear on the finish in a few areas. This is in completely original condition and not been restored.
