ENLARGE PICTURES FOR BETTER DETAILED VIEW. What a beauty here. Highly ornated, untouched, ready for the “facelift”. I found this stove in the house build in 1840. This stove was always there. This estate was located in Mansfield CT and that is where the stove was found. It is all cast iron, no visible damages, no cracks. It has a surface rust, but it is not rusted thru. Still very solid piece. It will restore very nicely. On the cast it says: Patented 1849. Also it says: Waverly Air-Tight Low & Hicks Troy, NY No. 4″ & ” Manuf’d By Clark, Keeney & Co. ” The largest dimension/footprint is 38″ x 28″ x 21″. However, if you really love this piece I know a private transport company owner, who can get you this item. It will cost depends on your location. Hand crafted wood stove made from cast iron Barrel , nice front heavy door with small window. The inside part of stove is 29 x 17. The outside measures 71 inches round covering the stainless panels , best I can tell 42 inches long. This stove handles twenty inch logs. Has handle on back for easy moving. Stands 41 inches height from the floor to the top of damper knob. And 28 inches wide. The feet of stove are 28 long and 20 wide. It has a box on top of stove 10 1/2 X 10 1/2 and 9 1/2 high. 8-20, been in place for over 70 years [1st hand family knowledge], probably 100 years. In good to very good condition. Used periodically until 30-40 years ago; wood, coal and kerosene… Vented in back to chimney flue. H=58″ x W=53″ x D=32. No noticeable damage, just some tarnish and paint nicks outside and surface rust inside. Front doors and hinges intact-working, no damage. Top, front and sides are clean. Inside grates and cavity with minor surface rust. Renovating kitchen and need the stove space for new counters and appliances.
