Rare cast iron parlor stove by Union Stove Works of NY. This is coming from the estate of a man who was an. Expert clock repairman and restorer. Restored this stove probably in the 1970s. He was a life long stove collector and this is the best one from his personal collection. According to one website, this form from the 1870s is extremely rare. Appears to be in good condition. The man had outfitted the interior with a light bulb complete with a switch on the back side. I believe the iron has been painted black. The windows have clear plastic, perhaps originally glass? The top finial is held on by a bolt, but is lose and would need to be reconnected. All the doors function well. Measurements: 43″h x 20″w. Feet can be easily removed for transport.
