From an estate sale. Lady Franklin cast iron parlor stove. Made by The Akron stove co. This stove was repainted at some point in its life, it’s done very nicely. I’m not sure if this is an original or a vintage reproduction. I believe it to be original, it has parts held together with hand hammered rivets. I can’t find anything about it anywhere online. The closest thing I can find to it is a lady Washington stove patented in 1848 by the Anthony, Davy and co. It looks very close to this one. This is truly a very ornate and beautiful parlor stove.
