C Antique Cast Iron Stove & Cauldron. Stands 35″ tall with a very large cauldron measuring 24″ top diameter. Stove base is a rectangular 30″ x 18″ at the longest parts. Cast marked on both sides “Twenty Two Gallons” & cast marked on stove door Orr, Painter & Co. In antique very used condition with expected losses including metal loss at front left bottom corner, metal loss front lower edge, rust thru at base of flue extension & one bracket broken at inside base (all shown in pictures). Rust on all surfaces. Stove is made up of a base & 4 sides, all held together by a top collar. Cauldron rests inside the collar & has a farm handmade handled tin lid. Once collar is removed, stove comes apart into 5 pieces. Very old post civil war era piece that was used for fat rendering. Stove can still be used as is or metal repairs can be made. Cauldron and collar can be used as an antique fire pit. Please view all the pictures for a more complete condition. Due to the very heavy weight, Free Local Pick-Up Only, Lancaster, Pa. This is Extremely rare ornate cast iron Danish stove & oven from c. Takes up only 1.5 square feet. Made in Denmark by well known company L. P Jensen of Swendborg. All original with no cracks on the structure. The crate and the ash box is no longer with it but it is fairly easy to make to order. Crown molding in the back has some loss but not visible from front or the sides. This stove could be running again or be used as interior decorative piece. It is fairly small and takes up only couple of feet of Your Realestate but it brings so much interest. It will be well packed and wrapped. Let me know if you have any questions. 18 inch in diameter at the base and 70 inches tall. It is NICE rare decoration!! Get it before it is gone. I found this stove in the house build in 1840. This stove was always there. This estate was located in Mansfield CT and that is where the stove was found. It is all cast iron, no visible damages, no cracks. It has a surface rust, but it is not rusted thru. Still very solid piece. It will restore very nicely. On the cast it says: Patented 1849. Also it says: Waverly Air-Tight Low & Hicks Troy, NY No. 4″ & ” Manuf’d By Clark, Keeney & Co. ” The largest dimension/footprint is 38″ x 28″ x 21″. However, if you really love this piece I know a private transport company owner, who can get you this item. It will cost depends on your location. This listing is for the well known Royal Esther model from Mt Penn Stove Works pictured above. It measures about 16″ long by 16″ high. The top shelf and the piece of cast iron that is attached to are pretty loose, so some screws may need tightening. For being 100+ years old it is in nice shape. There is some discoloration/rust on the stovetop and the back of the stove. All cabinets properly open and close. All stove covers are present. There are NO accessories (pots and pans).
