The catalytic combustor is in great shape(see photos), it should give 6+ years service. New damper, damper frame and Stainless Steel heat screen/shield. This is a very efficient stove. I have used the Heathstone I, II, Harvest and Mansfield and the Woodstock is a much more efficient design. This has a 8-12 hr burn time, depending on the wood and the stove stays warm for a few hours after that. Once you use a soapstone stove it is hard to use a cast or steel wood stove again. Previously owned Soapstone Wood Burning Stove. It is a quality made Keystone – Woodstock Soapstone Co. It has been utilized in a 1300 sq ft cabin outside a historic home in Cumberland VA for many years, providing warmth to various family and friends. It still a functioning stove and has been removed only because of reconstruction of the cabin. Keystone has the largest unobstructed view of a fire of any of the mfg stoves made. Burns for 8 to 10 hrs on a single load of wood producing up to 45,000 BTUs per hour. The thick soapstone walls ensure large amounts of heat are stored and radiated steadily, even after the fire has died down. As a internal catalytic combustor type stove, it boost heat output, reduces fuel consumption and virtually eliminates pollution. Has a built-in ash pan below the firebox, which can be emptied with the stove lit. Dimensions: 28″ H x 25″ W x 20 D. Very heavy at 430lbs. Wood loading from the right hand side.
