Offered here is an ultra. Rare and highly collectible cast iron skillet. Made by the Portland Stove Foundry Co. Of Portland, Maine, featuring the distinctive clover logo. Unlike mass-produced skillets by Griswold or Wagner, Portland Stove Foundry cookware was made in much smaller quantities, making surviving examples scarce today. Maker: Portland Stove Foundry Co. Diameter: 10.25 (rim-to-rim). Just shy of 2 T. Weight: 3.11 lbs (lighter than most #8 skillets – a hallmark of this foundry). Markings: Raised clover logo, Portland Stove Foundry Co. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Glassy smooth cooking surface (think piqua ware), no cracks, no chips, no repairs. There are a few small casting-divets in the cooking surface (see finger point pics). Sits dead FLAT on a marble countertop. Side walls are a bit crude and have excess material around the rim (Personally, I’d get a machine shop to tidy these up in the long-term). Why it’s special. Portland Stove Foundry skillets are considered true Americana – produced by a regional Maine foundry with limited output, making them much rarer than Griswold or Wagner pans. Their lighter, thinner castings are fragile, which is why so few have survived intact. This skillet, with its strong markings and smooth surface, is a top example for collectors. A fantastic addition to any vintage cast iron or Americana collection.

Extremely Rare Antique Beckwith SideWinder Round Oak Parlor Stove
This is an extremely rare stove. It was manufactured by P. Beckwith Company in Dowagiac Michigan. The Beckwith Round Oak stoves were very popular in its day but this one is very rare today. If you look closely you will see that the ash pit door is on the left, the main feed doors are in the front and the output stovepipe is on the right. This results in a counter clockwise draft flow. The stove became known as the Beckwith SideWinder. No one knows why Beckwith made this stove in this unusual configuration but perhaps it was to take advantage of the natural corriolus force that also drives water in North America to drain from your sink or toilet in a counterclockwise swirl. This stove is installed in my TV room and it has offered a great comfort and pleasant firelight particularly on snowy nights here in Colorado. It is a wonderful and very comforting stove.

Vintage Griswold Cast Iron Minature Tea Pot Handled Kettle Rare Hard To Find, Sales Sample. It is about 4-1/4″diameter by about 7″ tall to top of handle and 6 long to end of the spout. It is marked Griswold on the bottom, as seen in the pictures. There are no cracks or chips and sits flat. It is cast iron and a magnet sticks to it. It has been displayed a long time, so new owner can clean the dust off it. Please look at my other items for sale.

In very good used condition, the elephant measures approximately 3 1/4″ long by 2″ tall by 1 1/8 wide. One side of the elephant reads: Independent Stove Co. The reverse reads: Renown Underfeed Stoves.
