One Antique Cast Iron Reading Stove Works Reading PA late 1889 mailbox. This box was patented in June 1889 and manufactured by Reading Stove Works in Pennsylvania. The mailbox is cast iron and weighs approximately 45 lbs. Measurements are Height is 16 inches, Length is approximately 13 inches and depth is 7 1/4 inches. Front corners of the mailbox have been brazed on ready to be glazed for painting or be refurbished. The front has a pull down for insertion of letters.
