This is a wonderful old child’s size or salesman sample size, cast iron stove. It is marked Charter Oak No. One is a waffle maker, The stove would actually work as it was a copy of the larger ones that mom bought. There are 6 little doors. There is a large door on the front that opens and a large door on the back that opens. Not sure why, maybe it was used as a display piece for the larger stoves. The small door on the front opens, but the small one on the back does not, it is just simulated. There are 3 doors on the end that open, (to clean out the ash I suppose)The stove has no damage or repairs, but one of the trivets on the top is a replacement, can only tell because the lifter hole is smaller. The stove measures about 14 inches tall and is about 20 inches long and about 11 inches deep. Pretty heavy, weighs about 30 lbs. 8/15/18 – The doors and legs have been nickle plated for display, the last picture was the before.
